This ecolodge is in the jungle and on the beachfront all at once. Good for people who like adventure but also beautiful lodgings. Definitely get a massage from Pamela while you’re there. Photos are of the beach suite where we stayed. Our friends stayed in the crystal house. The beach suite was big enough to host all 8 of us for meals and had great beach access. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the treehouse. The kids (ages 4 and 7) loved walking on the bridges to the bedroom and spotting all the creatures that came to visit. The beach was beautiful and the hot tub was a delightful addition. We would love to stay again the future.

This place is unique and special. Don’t stay if you want a luxury hotel with standardised rooms. Do stay if you want to hear the sounds of the jungle and ocean all around you, spot wildlife from your chair, and experience something a bit different. You might see a few more ants on the floor (and apparently raccoons will take any fruit you leave out) but this is more than worth it for the peace and the closeness to nature if you value those things. There is private access to a small beach, a delicious Italian restaurant right opposite, and yoga/pilates run by Pamela.

On top of the experience, we have to thank the owner Edsart for his help and kindness. We had various different requests across our stay and he was happy to try to accommodate them all with a smile, even when disturbed out of hours. This included when one of us was taken ill (unrelated to the accommodation!), when his help with logistics was invaluable. Thank you so much and see you again next time!

Alle möglichen Tiere direkt von der Terrasse aus gesehen: Tucane, Affen… 😀 - Grossartiger Ort mit phantastischem Haus. Sehr stilvoll und künstlerisch. Sehr zu empfehlen!

You can't come closer to the jungle than this and still have comforts of home! And a private beach is a one minute walk down a private path. Dream location. Everything outdoors (kitchen, living area, bathroom and shower except for the bedroom (2nd level of tree house). Jungle trees grow through the house, or I should say the house is built around them. Felt secluded and very peaceful. Very nice to be just far enough away from Puerto Viejo to have peace and quiet, no noise and crowds, and within walking distance of the beautiful Punta Uva beach (get a coco loco at one of two beach bars and just watch the waves crash). Place to rent a bike is very close, within walking distance, as is a supermarket and a little frufru coffeeshop if you really need the comforts of home. Italian and Argentinian restaurants are basically across the street as well. Worth every penny.

Fantastisch!! 😀 - Wij sliepen in de schoolbus! Het was een heel mooi verhaal en super locatie! Heel mooi hoe de schoolbus omgebouwd is tot accommodatie. De zee is ook prachtig wat bij de accommodatie zit! En de locatie is top en zit veel in de beurt prachtige omgeving! 😞 - .

Spectacular house in the middle of a lush forest garden. Right next to the beach. The jacuzzi in the spacious bathroom was an amazing experience. Friendly and helpful staff.

Traumhaft 😀 - Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden liebevoll empfangen und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben im Bus übernachtet, eine unglaubliche Erfahrung. Es ist sehr gemütlich und gross. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Zu Fuss sind es nur drei Minuten bis zum Strand, der mit Liegestühlen ausgestattet ist. Wir konnten täglich baden. Einfach super!
